SEED Mission and Board

S.E.E.D., Students Empowered to End Dependence (or Dependency), became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in October 2022. 

 

Its Mission is to dramatically reduce substance use among Maine students by engaging them in compelling learning opportunities and messaging campaigns.

 

The S.E.E.D. Board of Directors includes the following individuals who are passionate about the organization’s mission and are dedicated to ensuring that it’s goal of reducing the number of students who regularly use substances to 10% or less by 2032 is achieved using enhanced educational offerings and strong/factual community messaging.
