Voices of Hope messaging, included in an enhanced health curriculum at Scarborough High School, has had a significant impact on students' perception of risk.

After receiving substance-use/abuse education, only 5.1% of surveyed Scarborough High School students believed there was “little to no risk” of harm if they used marijuana 1-2 times per week, compared to 66% of Maine high school students who did not receive the same education.

SEED is committed to implementing a train-the-trainer program to ensure that all Maine middle/high schools have the ability to provide high-potency marijuana and SUD education to their students.
